The Ecomex® range of clear PLA (Polylactic Acid) films

 

  

 

The Ecomex® range of clear PLA (Polylactic Acid) films are ideally suited for carton windows. The surface of these films offer excellent adhesion to typical window patching adhesives giving 100% fibre tear (self-test recommended). PLA is a general purpose plastic which is an industry standard in packaging, printing, graphic arts, overlays, and many other applications. The Ecomex® range of clear PLA films are made from corn starch, and therefore are 100% biodegradeable and home compostable. In addition the food contact approval allows PLA to be used in cartons containing foods. The Ecomex® range of clear PLA films are primarily available in 40 micron.
